Of the cities listed how many have you seen in person? Of the cities listed which would you most like to visit this year? Any plans to do so? What's one place in America you think everyone should see? If you're not American what's one place in the US you'd like to see?
We've been to Boston, Philadelphia, New York and Washington D.C. over the years but our travels to the US these days focus on Vermont where our son and his family are currently living. We're very familiar with Boston airport!

3. Three sounds you hate to hear?
Children crying - when they're upset and need comforting
Children screaming when they're in the middle of a tantrum
Sirens - emergency services rushing somewhere is never usually good
4. February 24th is/was National Tortilla Chip Day. Are you a fan? With salsa, guacamole, queso, or just plain please? Do you like nachos? With what on top? Is there anything (besides nachos) you make that calls for tortilla chips?
I'm not a big fan of tortilla chips but I don't mind them with cheese melted on top (nothing else) or with an onion and garlic dip.

Two more things to look forward to in March - our eldest son has a birthday and the clocks go forward! Can't wait for lighter evenings.
Have a good day all.
Ahh! Children laughing is one of the best sounds! Sirens always seem to put me on edge even if they are just passing by.
ReplyDeleteOhh! I am looking forward to the clocks changing even though I have noticed it is so much lighter on an evening now, I think it was half past 5 before it was getting dark last night.
Yes to the clocks moving forward! I can get excited about more daylight. My son-in-law has a birthday this month and my mother-in-law turns 90. We have some celebrations planned for her that I know she'll enjoy. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYou have me beat Wendy, I have not visited Vermont. ;-) Hee Hee.
ReplyDeleteI hope to someday.
My friend Nellie lived in Vermont for five years.
I love bird song too, and some of our spring birds are starting to come back. I can hear them singing in the mornings.
We have not explored the northeast states, but would love to. We shared some of the same sounds we dislike. Reading all the responses to those questions in particular has been interesting today.
ReplyDeleteYES! We love Logan!! And....YAY for almost time to turn the clocks! I'm longing for sunnier days, NO MORE SNOW and longer days!!
ReplyDeleteOh, the clocks going forward! That’s something I’m definitely looking forward to.
