SoCS 9/4/16 - Ha!

https://lindaghill.com/2016/04/08/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-april-916/
Today’s prompt from Linda is Ha.  Click on the picture to join in the fun.

Linda provided this prompt so that it might help those of us taking part in the A-Z Challenge.  Well Ha!  I have already posted my “H” post. In fact it was scheduled.  Well forgive me if that sounds a bit smug.  I’m not feeling smug at all.  When I decided to join up for the challenge this year I was determined to be more organised than last year and have posts prepared in advance.  On a theme.

Well that worked, to a degree.  I selected my theme (London Underground stations) and I set about choosing which stations to write about.  So far so good.  I also decided to add in photos.  Photos that I had taken myself rather than just grabbed off the net.  This would be multi purpose.  It would get me using my camera and it would get me out of the house.  It made me review my choice of stations!

So far I’ve managed to stay ahead of myself.  (Although there was a slight glitch when I realised you had to hit publish to make a schedule post appear at the right time.)  But now I’m having a bit of a panic.

Monday’s post is scheduled.  Beyond that I have nothing.  Ha.  Not so smug now.  I do have some photos stored but I will need to get out again next week for some of my other posts.  Plus I have to think about how I deal with letters that do not have any corresponding stations.  I’m working on that.  And then there is the challenge of keeping up with comments and visiting blogs.

On top of all this my son and his wife move in with us next weekend so I’m having to make adjustments for that.  I often say I like a challenge but maybe this is one challenge too far.  This is rapidly not becoming funny ha ha!

    1. I expect it will but posts will probably be less likely to be scheduled in advance and nearer to midnight than midday! lol

  3. You are rocking the A-Z challenge. I loved Hyde Park when I visited 10 years ago. Hmmmm. I wonder if I am any relation to the Burton you mentioned (my maiden name) and my grandfather did come from London. Ha! You never know.

  8. If it's any consolation, I had grand plans to plan ahead this year. I have no more scheduled posts either - and I have to wrangle a dog and a cat! You'll likely see the post quality deteriorate as I attempt to get pictures of two excited animals before I head out for work.

    1. Well they do say never work with children or animals in showbusiness so you have certainly made your challenge harder! lol
