1.Describe your 30's in one sentence. If you're not yet 30 tell us one thing you hope to accomplish once you hit that particular decade.

Nappies, school runs, sleepless nights and all the other joys of raising young children.

2. Is it harder for you to exercise or eat healthy?
I’m pretty rubbish at both!  I do lots of walking but would like to do something else.  I was doing a pilates class before our big trip to Australia but haven’t got back to that since and I really should.  We do eat fairly healthy meals – we mostly cook from scratch and don’t eat convenience foods but my failing is my sweet tooth and being unable to resist a sweet snack or treat.

3. June 7th is National VCR Day. Huh? Anyway this reminded me of something I saw on Facebook listing household items we no longer have and the VCR was on it. I couldn't put my hands on that list, but found another list here of 21 items we all had ten years ago, but which are now obsolete-
bookshelves (WHAT!!???), drip coffee makers, alarm clocks, file cabinets, desktop computers, printers, printed phone books, answering machines, fax machines, paper shredders, a Rolodex, CD racks, CD burners, china cabinets, home phones, entertainment consoles, DVD players, calculators, takeout menus, incandescent light bulbs, and cable TV
Your thoughts? How many on the list do you still have? Still use?
I really don’t know why bookshelves is on that list but from that list I have everything except:

A drip coffee maker (we’re not big coffee drinkers in our house)

Rolodex

CD burner &

Incandescent light bulbs.

4. What's something you see disappearing in the next ten years?

With the increase in air-conditioning maybe fans?  Although I hope not because air-conditioning in our house translates to open windows and fans!

5. How did you celebrate your birthday this past year? Is that typical?

Quietly probably (it’s almost a year ago!) and yes that would be typical.  Although I have a big 0 birthday next year so will probably try and do something a bit bigger.

My routines and motivation have gone a bit to pot lately because life events have rather taken over.  Grandson #3 has arrived.  You can read more here.
