#JusJoJan - 1/1/19
Just Jot It January is hosted by Linda H Gill - here's the link to her site where you will find all the rules and the place to leave your link to your own post if you decide to join in plus links to all the other participants.
The background to the challenge can be found here.
Amazingly, despite difficult circumstances, Linda has managed to get this challenge up and running again this year although today doesn't have an actual prompt. We can write whatever we want. Just my type of prompt because if you're familiar with my blog you'll know how I love to waffle.
Actually I don't feel like waffling too much today. I stayed up late to see the New Year in and then didn't sleep well at all so I am definitely NOT raring to go today. I might even be tempted to just jot my shopping list here. It needs to be jotted somewhere so I can transfer it to the online order later. Oh wait it is jotted - on a piece of paper on my kitchen table. Just as well as expecting my brain to remember the things we need might be a bit risky. I'm struggling to remember which day of the week it is during this holiday time. Am I alone in that? Probably not!
I'm almost ready to return to reality, almost but not yet. Hubby returns to work tomorrow so that will be a shock to his system. I have a break from Grandsitting for a couple of weeks so I'm planning on getting a head start on my 19 in 19 list as far as being healthy goes. We managed quite a long walk yesterday and now I've remembered how to use the Wii Fit I've managed to use it 3 days running. Well not running of course. Let's not get carried away!
Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI'm taking today as another holiday day too. Tomorrow is time to work on those goals!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year! Wishing you a year full of blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love the jotting challenge idea. You've reminded me that I need to find where I jotted down my grocery list.
ReplyDeleteLosing track of the days of the week is always an issue for me at Christmas, especially when Christmas is in the middle of the week. You're not alone at all! Thanks for sharing, Wendy! :D
