SoCS / JusJoJan - 4/1/20 - ow!

Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “ow.” Find a word that contains “ow” or use it as a word in your post. Have fun!

My first thought when checking out the prompt was the "ow" that I let out a week ago.  It was definitely an exclamation and was due to pain.  I slipped in the bath and crashed into the edge of it with my left side.  Fortunately I was in the bath on my knees, not standing up at the time otherwise it would have been a lot worse.

Actually I probably didn't say a polite "ow" at the time.  I can't possibly type what I might have said.  My blog isn't flagged up as being of adult content.  Well of course most of what I right is pretty sensible and adult, just not that sort of adult content.

And some of you may think it's not that adult at all at times considering how much content is devoted to my Grandsons or activities revolving around my Grandsons not to mention other members of the family.

I have been saying ow under my breath a lot this week though, particularly when trying to get comfortable in bed.  It's meant sleeping on my back a lot and that's provoked a few more ows when I've been poked due to snoring.

There "how" about that for a continuity link to my previous Jot!

  1. Can't find what you may have said, but I thought it was so easy with low, wow, bow, etc and then looked at cat Rosie who has such huge eyes that I call her my little owl ! And the word was found ! Childfriendly on top !

  2. I’m glad that you were mostly okay. A fall in the tub can be rather serious so all in all you were lucky.

  5. I've read quite a few "ow" stories the last couple of days. Glad you were not hurt too badly.
