A bit of Waffle - 27/4/26

Phew - I've scheduled all the remaining A-Z posts.  That's a relief.  It's been hard work keeping up with everything and, as usual, I haven't been great at visiting other bloggers that are taking part so I'm trying to do more of that now.

Even responding to comments has been tricky.  I hope none of my regular followers feel neglected.

I didn't do a photos post yesterday as I hadn't done a full week of photos but these are the photos that I did take last week:

A couple of things I bought for my Hubby's birthday - unfortunately the mug has already been broken.  Not sure what happened but he was pouring coffee into it and it just cracked around the bottom!  Very annoying.

This was a photo I took to remind me of when I parked in a restricted road on Tuesday.

The next book for the evening Book Group.

Progress on the jumper I'm knitting.

And at the weekend we had grandchildren Ella and Nathan sleeping over on Saturday night.

I didn't take a photo yesterday so not the best start to this week but I have taken some today.  Hopefully I'll continue over this week.

Hubby and I had an outing together today - we went to the nearby Larkswood and then for lunch in one of the many Highams Park cafes.

Tonight I'm on duty at the Foodbank for deliveries but it's looking like I will also have to do a collection as one of our drivers has now left to start training as a fire fighter.  Hopefully we'll recruit some more driver volunteers but until then I might be busier than usual!

Have a good week all.

A bit of Waffle - 20/4/26

Well I've done quite a few chores this morning so time to sit down with a cup of tea and do a bit of waffling.  Especially as I've got all this week's A-Z posts done and scheduled to post.  Although I might need to double check them - I just noticed that the formatting on today's post wasn't quite right and had to amend it.

Anyway, one of my blogging friends Marie commented on how organised I was to do the A-Z challenge and still do regular posts.  Well, sort of.  I haven't done all my regular posts.  I think I'm a bit like a swan - I appear calm and serene but underneath I'm paddling like mad to stay afloat.

I'll give you an example - it was Hubby's birthday on Saturday.  Now it's true that we don't go big on birthdays or Christmas presents for each other now.  But it's still nice to have something to open.

Here are two of the things I bought him:

He is definitely a coffee lover but he doesn't drink enough water so I bought him a cup that will work for hot or cold drinks for when he goes out that might encourage him to take water with him.  And yes that mug is fairly large.

I also bought him a new charger for his phone.  It was easier than trying to wait for him to go and do it instead of "borrowing" one of mine constantly.

Yes really nice presents, all bought during a food shop in Tesco!  Totally planned and organised, NOT!

We did have a nice evening out for his birthday but that wasn't planned by us either.  I will try and organise a lunch or a dinner out soon but this week we have HelloFresh coming.  Another mishap - I didn't get around to cancelling the delivery for this week, or choosing the meals so we're in for surprises!  I have been online this morning and skipped the next few weeks.

So there you have it, perhaps not as organised as I appear.  I have also managed to misplace my dustpan and brush.  Yes I have checked the dustbins just in case.  I've also checked the garden and the front of the house.  It seems to have vanished.  Fortunately I did have a spare set in the garage so I don't have to go out and replace it.  And of course if I did replace it the missing one would suddenly turn up.  For now I'm not looking for it anymore, but it is bugging me.

Right, time to get some lunch.  Hubby has gone out to get a new battery for his watch and "I might just check out the charity shops while I'm there."  He'll probably be gone for a while.

Have a good week all.

A bit of Waffle - 30/3/26

Well its nearly time for bed so this will be a short waffle.  I'm feeling quite tired tonight - our clocks went forward this weekend so I lost an hour but I've also had a couple of nights where Hubby's snoring has nearly had me decamping to the spare room.  His CPAP machine came up with an error message on Saturday so he wasn't able to use it on Saturday night or last night.  This morning I suggested he turned it off for a bit - as in completely unplug it and also check the water chamber was installed correctly.  Turns out it works the same as the computer - when in doubt turn it off and on to reboot it and it magically solves the problem.  Hopefully it will still be ok tonight and I might sleep better.

It's been 2 months now since I started taking a collagen supplement and I do think I'm usually sleeping better.  It might be more due to taking the collagen in a milky drink before bed than the actual collagen but it's still a win for me.  I also think my hair has improved and more recently the aches in my lower back and hips have been less.  I think my knees might be beyond redemption but we'll see.

I'm also trying to get more into the habit of reading when I go to bed than reaching for my phone.  I have soooooo many books to read.  I've just finished the one the afternoon book club chose so now I'm moving on to the book the evening group picked.

Tonight we had a quick visit to wish our Grandson Nathan Happy Birthday for tomorrow - they have plans so we won't see him on the day.  I can still remember every detail of the day he was born and the difficult first few months.  (He was very premature.)  But tomorrow he will be 9!  I'm sure he will have cake tomorrow but there was cake today too!

A bit of Waffle - 23/3/26

We had a nice quiet weekend.  I didn't even end up doing the Foodbank session I was on the rota for as the delivery came really early and the Hub Manager was already there opening up the church for the Saturday morning karate sessions so she dealt with it.

I did get quite a bit of knitting done, plus I listened to an audio book!  In error.  Well I mean I didn't listen to it in error but I hadn't intended to order in the audio version of the book from the library.  Anyway it was a pleasant enough way to spend time.

Several people have asked if the penny in the vase trick works:

This is after a week, bearing in mind they were given to us after they has been on display for quite a few days too.  So yes I think the penny works!

Today has been a day of two halves really.  This morning I went through my wardrobe and pulled out quite a few things that I haven't worn in a long time and am therefore unlikely to wear, plus a few pairs of shoes that I will definitely never wear again.  These have been bagged up ready for a charity collection on Friday.

I then decided I'd do a few bits in the garden but got a late request to do the school pick up by my DIL as she was stuck in waiting for a new tumble dryer to be delivered.

I made myself some lunch and was having a cup of tea when she messaged to say the dryer had arrived in time for her to do the school run.  Back to plan A - the garden.

Then there was a general message from the Foodbank about some chicken packs that needed to be collected from nearby Enfield before 5 o'clock and put straight into the freezers.  Well no one else volunteered so I said I would go.  We have been really short of things like this in our usual deliveries so it was too good an offer to pass up.  Thankfully there were a couple of people at the Foodbank by the time I got back who were able to help me unload the car and get it all put away in the freezers.

The garden will have to wait until tomorrow but the weather is looking okay.  The weather for the rest of the week is looking a bit unsettled with the only completely dry day being Thursday when I'm at the Foodbank.  There's nothing major to be done - hubby cut the grass last week - but I have some solar lights I want to put up plus I have a lot of pots that need emptying and probably got rid of and the shed needs a good tidy.

I am starting to think about getting some plants for pots to go on the patio.  It's a work in progress.  There are also a few bits of rubbish that need to go to the tip which will be delegated to Hubby.  He's been to the new one now and knows the way so no chance of getting a ticket like he did when he went to the old tip, got lost and went through a prohibited section of road!  At least I hope not.

A bit of Waffle - 16/3/26

We had Grandson Nathan here on Saturday morning until early afternoon which was nice.  He's started a big jigsaw so he brought that here on a puzzle board and we managed to get the edging done but he lost interest after that.  Especially once he managed to persuade Grandpa to play football outside for a bit.

Yesterday my daughter and DIL brought afternoon tea to us.  We were supposed to go there but they've had a few issues at home with a leak and now their tumble dryer isn't working so they came to us instead.

We had cream cheese and smoked salmon bagels followed by scones with clotted cream and jam plus a couple of other cakes.  I also got a lovely plant which hopefully I won't kill and some nice soap.  It was Mother's Day here in the UK.

Of course we also got a load of washing to dry in our tumble dryer.  Just glad we live near enough to be able to help out like that.

Today I've had a fairly quiet day - I submitted the plastic count we'd done last week.  It would be nice to think that a collective effort might put pressure on our Government to try and reduce the plastic packaging we get.  There is a lot of unnecessary wrapping on food.  I try to buy loose fruit and veg when I can and I have various things that come as refills for starter bottles such as washing up liquid, fabric conditioner and cleaning spray and they come packaged in cardboard that can be recycled.   There is talk that when one of the local fish and chip shops closes soon that it will become a butcher's shop.  That would be good because a lot of the plastic we bin each week is meat wrapping.   Will have to see how expensive it is though.

This was our tally sheet:

This evening I've been at the Foodbank taking in deliveries and it would seem most of the supermarkets overestimated on flowers for Mother's Day as we received lots of flowers tonight, so many we didn't have enough flower buckets to get them all in water so I now have a vase of tulips to brighten my dining room table too.  One of the perks of being a volunteer.

A bit of Waffle - 9/3/26

And it is Monday again.  We had a fairly quiet weekend - I was babysitting for my daughter on Friday evening and both children went to bed without too much fuss so that was good as I was on my own.

Saturday morning was an early start to accept deliveries at the Foodbank so after that I relaxed at home doing some reading and some knitting.

On Sunday I did manage to get out for a walk around the local lake which is still soo muddy.  But the buildings that had been subject to an arson attack have now been demolished and the debris removed so the walkway at the south end of the lake has now reopened.

Although it was dry it was cloudy and grey.

Lots of tufted ducks at the south end of the lake.

This is the site where the buildings were.

Today I spent quite a lot of time searching for a puzzle board I bought recently.  I have an older folding flat board for keeping puzzles safe but I also have one that rolls around an inflatable tube.  I was pretty sure the new one was out in the garden room but despite searching for it and around the whole house it took me ages to find it.  Of course it was in the garden room I just wasn't looking properly!  I wanted to lend one to my daughter as Nathan has a large puzzle he wants to do.  Annoyingly thought, having spent so long searching for it she then went home without it!

Now I'm off to collect some donations for the Foodbank from our local Tesco as the usual driver is unavailable.  Busy, busy busy!

A bit of Waffle on 2/3/26

It has been sunny today - all day!  And it was warm.  It felt like Spring.  I guess it is technically Spring now we're into March but we have had so many grey rainy days it's been hard to believe it was coming.

I even did a couple of bits in the garden - the lavender needed cutting back as did the rose tree in the front garden.  Both were jobs I should have done ages ago but at least they are done now.  I also gave the front doorstep a once over, another job that the weather hasn't helped with.

And then I went and got a couple of bits from Tesco so I've already met my 7500 step target and I haven't even been to the Foodbank yet!  Now I'll be going in the car as I don't need the walk to make up my steps.  I thought I might be doing a food pick up tonight as one of the volunteer drivers hadn't confirmed they were available but then they did at the last minute so one less thing to worry about.

So no more time for waffle.  Hope your start to the week has been good too.

A bit of Waffle - 23/2/26

And another day when we had rain.

But another day of blogging.  I think I'm falling into a bit of a rhythm here and having specific things on the days of the week is definitely helping.  Although I am conscious that I don't always have enough time to respond to comments and get around to everyone else's blogs that quickly.

And today there was a post about the upcoming A-Z blogging challenge which will be upon us before we know it.  In fact the dates for doing a Theme Reveal post and signing up etc were released today. (See here for details.)

I actually started putting a plan together for this year's A-Z challenge last June.  I was feeling very organised.  I had my theme and I knew what needed to be done.  I even did a draft of my A post.  In August I managed to draft B & C.  And that's it!  So I have 23 more posts to do.  I'd like to have them all done before 1st April but that may or may not happen.  Some of my best posts have probably been done at the last moment but it does make it all a bit stressful and leaves less time to see what other bloggers are doing.  I've met quite a few of the bloggers I follow through the A-Z challenge but others have been through the various link ups I do too.

I really enjoy being part of the blogging community even if my input is a load of waffle!

A bit of Waffle - 16/2/26

Well it's only going to be a little bit of waffle tonight as it's now almost
11 pm and it's been a tiring day.

Granddaughter Ella was dropped off here just after 9 this morning and although she's quite easy to look after she does demand attention.  We played lots of games, according to the rules of Ella, and we also watched a more recent version of The Sound of Music.  Ella loves to sing and dance.

I gave her lunch and then my DIL, Hubby and Grandson Nathan arrived back from a morning of Top Golf.  They all stayed for a bit and then I took them home.  Thankfully they are only a 10-15 minute drive away from us so the round trip doesn't take much more than half an hour. (Temporary traffic lights excepted.)

Tonight I was at the Foodbank taking in deliveries from the local Tesco stores.  These are all their reduced items that are about to go out of date etc.  We could have opened a florist shop with all the flowers we got today.  Hardly food of course but it is nice for the people coming to the Foodbank to get something to brighten up their homes.  Hopefully they'll keep ok as we didn't have enough containers to put them all into water.  Nice to have 1st world problems.

Tomorrow it will be Nathan's turn to be here while Ella goes on a playdate with a school friend.  It's half term holiday this week so I'm glad to be able to give my DIL a break and my daughter has taken a bit of time off too.

Right I'm off to bed now and I might try to read a bit more of this book:

I'm finding it very hard going but it's one of my book club reads so I'll persevere.  Goodnight.

A bit more Waffle - 9/2/26

Waffle Cartoon by Vecteezy

It's been a weekend full of grandchildren Ella and Nathan. I had to pick Ella up from school on Friday as Nathan was off, then on Saturday my daughter popped in with Ella while Nathan was at a golf lesson.

They all ended up here afterwards for lunch.

Yesterday they returned the favour by having us to a lovely Sunday roast dinner.

Hubby did another school pick up today, dropping Nathan and our DIL to another golf lesson and then bringing Ella here while that was going on.  Ella is easy to entertain but she does have her own unique way of playing games lol.

Tonight I've been at the Foodbank taking in deliveries so now I'm off to bed.  I had good intentions of getting lots of chores done today but....tomorrow. (Maybe😉 - there's lots of Olympics to watch.)

A bit of Waffle - 2/2/26

Waffle Cartoon PNGs by Vecteezy

Mmm that's how I like my waffles.  Sorry if I'm making you hungry.  I've just finished my dinner but no waffles in sight.  We had chicken with a pesto and leek sauce and small crunchy roast potatoes plus some brussel sprouts that needed to be used.  The meal was a HelloFresh meal which actually came with peas but we switched them.  That's the royal "we" of course because apart from unpacking the HelloFresh box when it arrived I did nothing to get the meal prepared.  Thank you Hubby!

I like to think I'm a fairly organised person but not when it comes to planning meals in advance, especially not for the whole week.  I commented on Kim's post today - we have 3 HelloFresh meals coming which will take care of Monday - Wednesday.  After that who knows?

I've actually had a fairly productive day - got quite a few chores done, including changing our bed and doing some laundry.  The big thing ticked off my to do list though was renewing my passport.  It was really easy to do online, the only annoying thing was having to get a new photo done.  I thought I might get away with using the photo I had done for my free travel pass but that was over 6 months ago and the photo has to be within the last month.

Thankfully our local supermarket has a photo booth that does a digital code to use online and I had a bit of shopping to do so I did that, got the photo done and the application is now complete - they just need my old passport to process it and that's also now in the post to them.

But why do passport photos always look so grim?  Mine looks like a mug shot.

I mean would it really be so bad if we smiled?

I'm off to pay some bills now and then I'm off the the Foodbank to take deliveries in.  Hopefully it won't be raining.

Bits and Bobs

This weekend was the much anticipated Coronation of King Charles III.

I watched it all on TV in the peace and quiet of my home.  My Hubby, who is not a fan of royalty took himself out.

I enjoyed watching it - we certainly do pomp and ceremony well, even in the rain.  There have also been a lot of street parties taking place and people do seem to have got behind the new King.

Of course there are also people who feel we shouldn't have a monarchy and that the money spent on this event could have been put to better use.  There are pros and cons for both arguments.

It rained on and off all day yesterday but it didn't spoil the event.

Today has been much nicer, warm and sunny.  I've had another lazy day but I did get out for a walk up into the forest and back down by the golf course for a change.  I was glad I'd put my walking boots on though as the rain yesterday has made the paths very muddy again.

We have a bank holiday tomorrow but of course when you're retired it doesn't have the same impact!

I've finally finished reading the Terry Pratchett book I'd started nearly a week ago.  It was the second of his books that I've read for the BBC list I'm still slowly working through.  Thankfully there are no more of his books on the list because I am done with Pratchett.  I don't dislike a bit of fantasy or sci-fi but I found his books hard going.  Perhaps I'm just too old lol.

Is it Thursday?

Linda has been doing posts entitled "What Day is it Anyway" during these strange times.

I'm pretty sure it's Thursday today.  (But I could be wrong!)  Since giving up work / retiring staying at home I already struggled to keep track of the day and as for the date well thank goodness my watch can tell me that.  Now in these strange times I fear that one day will merge into another and this heading will become very topical.

We are not self isolating but we are social distancing.  So we have been at home.  I'm not even sure when we will see the grandsons & families again.  We're being asked to avoid family gatherings yet we can still go to the supermarket!  And pubs and bars etc have not been told to close!  Yet schools will close their doors tomorrow for an extended spell.

As for our intended move?  Who knows?  One of our viewings for Saturday was cancelled today but then another house that looks promising appeared on the market.  As we haven't been told we can't go we will continue to look and practice social distancing/good hygiene etc as best we can until we're told otherwise.

Today was pretty miserable weather wise but tomorrow looks slightly better so we will definitely be aiming to get out for a walk.  At least we can still do that.  We'll also continue to tackle the To Do list for moving because even if we don't end up moving for a while these things still need doing.

Today I finished shredding a big pile of old financial paperwork and we also checked out the state of some of the tents that have been stored in the cellar.  They all seemed fine so now I can offer them out to our kids or the extended family.  Hopefully some of them will be taken off our hands and then we can think about what to do with the rest.  Fortunately our son who lives nearby has a garage but no car so if there are things we haven't got rid of that we don't need to take to a new house we can dump them in the garage while we work out how to dispose of them.

Of course we could be here for a while.  What day is it?

Actually I know exactly what day it is - 32 years ago today I was giving birth to my eldest son. A word of advice for expect mothers - if you're given the choice between pushing or forceps - PUSH! Sorry if that's too much information.

Happy birthday Matthew!

There are still plenty of things to smile about.

Waffle or Twaddle on Thursday

I was determined to do at least one blog this week that wasn't related to a meme or a book review.  I looked at my stats and realised that this months were down on last.  I've clocked up 13 posts so far, this will be #14 (assuming it gets finished and posted) but they are mostly memes or book reviews. I've been doing lots of reading this month.  It sometimes feels like a guilty pleasure.

As does sitting for several (ok many) hours today watching The Crown.  I've justified it to myself by also ticking off the following today:
  • Car delivered to the garage to get a couple of things checked out
  • New rose bush planted
  • Washing done and dried (or at least drying)
The car has parking sensors that, usually, prevent me from hitting anything when I'm parking.  Recently thay had developed a fault.  Instead of giving a series of beeps everytime I put the car in reverse it just started screeching at me.  It made me realise how dependant I'd become on them though.  Anyway hopefully by tomorrow the car will be fixed and I won't be (gently) bumping into anything.

Regular readers will know that we planted 2 new rose bushes earlier this year.  I do love roses.  Well one bush has thrived, the other did not.  Fortunately the company I purchased them from offer a guarantee and they lived up to it.  I e-mailed them last Thursday with photos of the two bushes.  I had a reply within a day to say that a replacement would be despatched and it arrived on Tuesday.  I call that good service.

As for getting the washing done, that's hardly a challenge with an automatic washing machine and a tumble dryer.

I have done a few other things this week - ordered Christmas cards, which arrived today.  I like to support the Alzheimer's Society so I often get cards from them.  Part of me wants to move towards sending e-cards but part of me worries about charities losing an important source of income.  There are also quite a few people on my card list that I know I couldn't send e-cards too.  Many are older friends, or former work colleagues and at this time of year I always fear that a Christmas card might herald the news that someone has passed away.  But that's human nature.

I'd also ordered personalised baubles for the little ones.  They arrived today.  So another thing ticked off my list.  Of course the to do list never seems to shrink.  It just keeps rolling over.  But that's because there are always things to do, even if you are retired and make time to watch TV and read books! Oh and Grandsit and waffle of course.

A bit of Waffle!

I have managed to catch a cold.  It started over the weekend and a day with Rory yesterday has left me feeling exhausted today so I'm being kind to myself and taking it very easy.  (I have another day with Rory tomorrow to be ready for.)

Like all my grandsons, Rory is a joy to spend time with but he is hard work.  He's also cutting more teeth so he's runny nosed and dribbly.  He did sleep for quite a bit yesterday but when he's awake there's no rest for Nanny!

I've been trying to catch up with your blogs and I was also looking back on some of my own.  In particular posts that I've written on Brexit.  It's hard to fathom that it's over 3 years since we the country voted to leave the EU and we seem no nearer to reaching an agreement on how it will actually happen.  In fact we seem much closer to crashing out with no deal at all as the latest deadline of 31st October draws nearer.

Yes it's depressing and watching the news is not a fun activity but I still do, just to see what the latest craziness is.  After all who would have thought Boris Johnson would end up as Prime Minister?  As for the Benn Act as it's being called (or the Surrender Act depending on which camp you are in) which is supposed to prevent us from crashing out with No Deal, will BJ comply with it?  Probably not.  He's a slippery character and I'm sure he's plotted some way of not doing so, even though he says he will.

Keeping up with it all is difficult.  I've given up on being able to name prominent post holders.  There have been so many changes over the last few years (months even) and that's before you look at how the political parties are shifting.   Which of course is another problem.  In the past, one way to prevent the Conservatives taking us out of the EU with No Deal would have been to force a general election and put the Labour Party into power and for us all to take a deep breath.  Currently I don't think any party is capable of securing a majority and the prospect for any coalition being successly formed looks highly unlikely too.  Although scarily, it seems that Johnson is proving popular, particularly with those that voted to leave, and with the remainers possibly split between the Lib Dems and Labour, the possibility of the Conservatives remaining in power after a general election is becoming more likely.  It's no wonder that none of the other parties are rushing to call a vote of no confidence and trigger an election.

Meanwhile nothing of any other importance seems to be getting done, particularly with regard to climate change (yes it is real!) and we currently have Extinction Rebellion protesters causing such mayhem.

All this against a backdrop of miserable weather and shorter, darker days to come.  Halloween could be particularly scary this year.  Thank goodness for Strictly Come Dancing, library books and blogging.

Waffle on Wednesday

I usually try and join in with the Wednesday Medley hosted by Terri but today's topic didn't really grab me so you'll have to settle for some waffle.

I've had a fairly productive day - got all the washing done and most of it dried.  I also spent time with the gardner this morning.  One of my birthday presents (from hubby's family) included this bench:

I've also got vouchers to spend so yesterday hubby and I went shopping.  We picked up the little tables - have to have somewhere for my cup of tea and book!

These two birds caught my eye so they found their way home with us.

I also got some more plants

We're gradually filling in all the gaps in the flower beds and the bees are loving my lavender.

I wanted to get some cushions for the bench but Hubby and I couldn't agree on a colour scheme.  It's great that he takes an interest in shopping for things for the home or garden but sometimes it gets a bit tricky.  I can't complain too much though because he also likes doing grocery shopping.

Now we just need some good weather again to be able to enjoy the bench.  It's been quite wet on and off but the garden needed the water and at least we haven't suffered like some areas where there has been a lot of flash flooding.

Tomorrow's looking dry at least so maybe I'll get some time outside.  I have new library books to read and no grandkids to worry about.  The to do list can wait!

My poor neglected blog!

Oh my goodness.  A week without a post, my poor blog must be feeling neglected.

Yes it's been a hectic week!  I did 4 days of Grandsitting last week - Nathan on Tuesday & Wednesday and then Rory on Thursday & Friday.  Rory's Daddy had gone off to walk in Scotland with his brother and some friends so Nana had to step in.

Of course it's lovely spending so much time with them but 4 days back to back is very tiring.  But I survived and more importantly so did the babies.  Rory did end up flat on his back at one point - he's starting to pull himself up on furniture - but he was more shocked than hurt. It happened in a blink of my eye and he has a very loud scream.  I was very relieved to confirm there were no bumps or bruises.

We went walking in the park.

The squirrels came up very close!

He loves his food!
Thankfully after all the babies we were away for the weekend with all of hubby's siblings and partners.  We stayed at the Mill Hotel in Sudbury which is a very pretty spot.  It was lovely not to have to cook or think about all the things that need doing at home but being part of a group of 14 is not particularly restful.  Especially when you throw in some walks, a mooch around the town and a lovely meal in the hotel Saturday night.  I'm not complaining though.  I really enjoyed it and I took some photos!

I should have had the foresight to re-arrange our dental appointment on Monday morning though.  It was a 9 am!

Thankfully no work needed on my teeth, apart from a good clean up.  Does anyone like going to the dentist?  Yep I think that's a rhetorical question!

Yesterday we were back with Nathan as usual except we ended up staying later as Becca was unwell so it was quite a long day.

Today I have Rory while Daddy has his driving lesson.

Then I will be chilling!  Or trying to work on my A - Z posts.  As usual my forward planning has almost ground to a halt and now I'm starting to panic about being ready for next Monday.  If you haven't a clue what I'm talking about check it out here.

Well that's me done for now.  Hopefully I'll get to the Wednesday Medley later.
