Ice cold. We had lots of rain last week but it was quite mild for the time of year. This week it really feels like winter - we had flurries of snow on Monday and I had to scrape ice off the car this morning. Brrrrrr
3. What's a project you've been putting off? Will you get to it this month? This year?
Registering with a local dentist and getting my teeth checked out. I really want to do this month, well I mean I don't WANT to - who enjoys going to the dentist? But it's something I know must be done. My teeth aren't giving me any problems at the moment but I don't want to find myself in an emergency situation.
4. Of the fruits that grow well in winter which ones have you tried? Which is your favorite?
pomegranates, clementines, persimmons, passion fruit, pears, grapefruit, lemons, pomelos, kumquats
I am not a great fruit eater and probably wouldn't eat any of those. (It's a texture thing and yes I know that's weird.)
5. What do you think it means to be courageous?
Doing something even if it scares you half to death. Standing up for what you believe in, despite the possible consequences.

DeleteWell you do care for all those grands from time to time and that's no small thing lol. I have a dental appointment this month, one of my least favorite 'to-do's but I just keep booking them out every four months and that forces me to go. Have a nice week!

ReplyDeleteThat's a good way to start the day. We often have a cooked breakfast - some form of egg, bacon etc but maybe I could try adding apple juice. Better than nothing I guess lol
