Fridays are a time to look back on the week and share our blessings.
If you want to join in or check out the other participants pop over to our host Suzanne's blog at Living to Tell the Story
Here are mine for the week:
1) Progress on the diet. No pics this week but the scales are showing it's working! Only a few pounds lost but going in the right direction.
3) Lunch with 4 of my sister-in-laws on Friday. We were planning for our upcoming family holiday. A glass of wine helps with planning right?
4) A successful shopping trip for bits and pieces needed for birthdays/anniversaries coming up. My son and his wife celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Sunday. That year has flown by.
and of course my week wouldn't be complete without
5) Nathan time.
They made it over to us for the first time since he was born and my best friend was able to join us. She has been wanting to see Nathan so much so this week it all worked out.
Have a great weekend all.
Nathan is adorable!! Congrats on the weight loss. I'm working on it too. A glass of wine always helps!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terri. I think so too but I'm probably a bit biased lol.
DeleteHurray on a new mattress. Sleeping on the right one is pivotal for a good night's sleep. I hope your husband finds that this one is the ONE.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the weight loss. You are right, even a pound or two is celebration worthy.
How great to have success with your shopping. Getting the right gift is such a satisfaction.
Getting grand child time is such a blessing and privilege. I love seeing the photos of your Nathan. I will see my grands this coming weekend.
Have a great week, Wendy.
There is nothing quite like a good night's sleep on a mattress that works well for both of you! Good deal that you have 40 days to make sure it is a comfortable as you anticipated.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for sticking with your diet and continuing to lose weight. It's all those weeks of a pound or two loss that adds up over time to help meet our goals.
Nathan looks so cute! Enjoy every minute you can spend with him.
Hope you have a very special week, Wendy.
