Friday's Fave Five - 8/6/18
Friday is time to look back on the week and find five things to be grateful for. Drop in to Susanne at Living to Tell the Story for full details and other participants.
So many things to be thankful for this week starting with:
1) A visit to Nottingham to catch up with this little guy
Noah is 3 weeks old now and doing well.
2) Nathan not having chicken pox. Although he was unwell with Roseola - high temperature, followed by a rash. He was a bit irritable on Tuesday when I had him but by Thursday he seemed to be over the worst although he did sleep more than usual.
3) Lunch with friends today. Always good to catch up with them.
4) Sunny weather - great to be able to get the washing on the line and not rely on the tumble dryer.
but the best of my five is this:
If you missed it you can read all about Grandson#3 (Rory) here.
We were especially grateful that he made it home yesterday after a week in hospital. Mummy, Daddy and baby are doing just fine!
Have a good weekend all.

Several fine little guys there!! Roseola is miserable for babies. Both my children had it at different times - that's been 25 years ago, and I still remember how bad they felt.
ReplyDeleteOh i remember when my oldest had roseolla. NOT fun. My second daughter never got it! Glad it wasn't something more serious!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new grandbaby!!
Have a wonderful weekend!
So much to be happy and thankful for. I'll see my grandchildren on Monday!
ReplyDeleteOh, congratulations to all of you! Little Rory is just beautiful! You're going to have so much fun watching those three little boys grow up together:) Best Friday Fave Five post for sure.
ReplyDeleteLucky you another grandson ! Now you need a little granddaughter ! You were quite busy in May I read the two posts together. You both look nice with your little grandson.
ReplyDeleteI finally have all documents for Russia in fact it was very easy to fill in if we would have known that we had to use letters which are the same in cyrillic letters for the password !! I found it out myself by pure coincidence.
Congratulations on the new grandson! Fun! Glad everyone is ok. It's nice to be able to catch up with friends, and yay for sunny weather! Glad Nathan's ok and didn't have chicken pox.
ReplyDeleteOh how exciting! Welcome Rory and congrats to all your family! And look at baby Noah! Three weeks already and so precious. Your post just made me smile. Glad Nathan didn't have chicken pox and that he made it through fairly easily with roseola. They immunize now for chicken pox here so you don't see it often, except in the cases of parent's turning down immunizations.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Grandma on the arrival of Rory! You have three of them now and that's is a wonderful blessing! I'm glad to hear that Nathan is feeling better and DOESN'T have chicken pox!
ReplyDeleteHurray for sunny days!
