1. Share one thing that really makes your day.
Waking up to a bright sunny start to the day.
2. Lots of these kinds of lists out there, but one found here says the fifteen most colorful places on earth are: Vernazza, Cinque Terre, Italy~Burano, Italy~Havana, Cuba~Rio de Janiero, Brazil~Chefchaouen, Morocco~Balat, Istanbul, Turkey~Menton, France~Jodhpur, India~La Baca, Buenos Aires, Argentina~Guanajuato, Mexico~Capetown, South Africa~Valparaiso, Chile~Wroclaw, Poland~San Francisco, California~and Pelourhino, Salvador, Brazil.
Of those listed which would you most like to see up close and in person? Of all the places you've seen or traveled in your own life, what would you say was one of the most colorful?

Probably San Francisco.
We’ve seen a bit of the East coast of USA so it would be good to see the
other side. But it’s really hard to
decide as there are so many amazing places out there.
3."Everything you want is on the other side of fear." Jack Canfield In general, would you agree or disagree with that statement? Why?
I’d disagree in general. I’m happy with the simple things in life – family, home, good food. None of which are particularly fear inducing (apart from actual childbirth of course). Of course some things require a leap and might include fear.

4. Imagine you're stranded on a desert island and dessert appears...what do you hope it is? Do you ever struggle to remember which spelling is desert and which is dessert?
Never struggle with the spelling, don’t often use the word
desert whereas dessert is a prominent feature!
Anything with chocolate or cream or both please!
5. What song almost always makes you cry?
Jerusalem – it was my secondary school anthem.

6. January is National Soup Month. Everything from soup to nuts, in the soup, thick as pea soup, souped up...which saying most recently applies to your life in some way? Explain.
I don’t think any of them really apply at present. We’ve had some foggy mornings but not pea soupers.

Hi. Love your answers. Stopping by from the link up. R.I.P. David Bowie. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteAw, Jersusalem definitely takes me back to our days in the UK. I don't hear it played here, but sometimes it's slipped into a film and catches me off guard. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteJust try...so simple, yet so powerful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me...and I enjoyed your answers. Have a beautiful day, friend.
ReplyDeleteA sunny day is a great way to start!
ReplyDeleteI was so sad when I heard we lost David Bowie. Yet another great talent gone. I agree with you on the sunny day!! Loved reading your Hodgepodge answers! Joyce is pretty amazing to keep coming up with engaging questions for us!

ReplyDeleteSeem that lots of people agree about a sunny start to the day. Waking up to grey skies and rain does nothing at all to make me want to get out of my bed.
ReplyDeleteI have had a go at joining in again this week but still can't comment on most peoples blogs.
Wendy, Joyce's blog is one that I can't comment on, can you ask her why for me please? I can't figure it out. On yours where it says choose an identity my name for my google account is already there on Joyce's the option for google account is there but not my name and I can't change it? Ther is not going to be much point in me joining in if I can;t comment.
ReplyDeleteJust try: Love it! I youtubed Jerusalem...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJerusalem. Yes, that makes me cry too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the HodgePodge and the David Bowie shout out.
I love Jerusalem too. I love it when it is a sunny day too. Have a great weekend!!
