What would I do if won £100 million pounds, or if I had that
money at my disposal?
I’d hope that I would spend it wisely. Of course I’d take care of my family and make
sure they had what they needed. (As opposed to wanted.) Then I’d look to how I
could make a difference somehow.
Of
course that would be difficult as there are so many people around the world in
need. Plus I know that just throwing
money at a problem is not always the best solution, particularly when you can’t
always trust the Government’s in place to spend the money in the best way. Maybe I'd invest in medical research.
I think the whole process would be quite daunting so I’d
probably have to throw in a few holidays to relieve the pressure.
What I do know is, I wouldn’t be spending it on a painting,
even one signed by Picasso! (Click here for full story.)
I hear ya, sister! So many better ways to spend that kind of money!
ReplyDeleteI have spent money on art, not of course in large amounts, but, in moderate to small amounts. The paintings and sculpture I have bought over the years, have brought me a great deal of pleasure. It doesn't matter to me whose name is on the art, and I sure wouldn't buy something just because of the name.
