Post 500 and Friday's Fave Five 21/4/17

Friday's Fave Five and A-Z update

Friday's Fave Five is hosted by Suzanne. Click here for full details.

What am I thankful for this week:

1)  Baby Nathan continues to make good progress.  Still a long way from coming home but he's in good hands.
2) A nice day with hubby on Tuesday.  We went out for brunch and then dinner to celebrate his birthday.  It was nice to have some time together after the last few weeks.

3)  Getting to post 500 on blogger.

4)  All the good wishes we have received from everyone for Nathan and his Mummies.

5)  Automatic washing machines, tumble driers, microwaves, shopping deliveries and all the other gadgets/services that make life easier, especially when it's tough.

Have a good weekend all.  Ours will be busy as our son and his wife are down with their dogs.  There will be hospital visits to fit in plus on Sunday our other son is running the London Marathon.  Never a dull moment!

  2. Hi there,
Praying baby Nathan keeps getting stronger everyday!
Thanks for the reminder , it's so easy to take for granted those little things that make our lives a little easier.
Good luck to your son running the London Marathon and congratulations on getting to your 500th post.

  3. My little grandson's birthday this week brought to mind his first ten weeks in the NICU and how far God has brought him since then. I pray the same for your little Nathan. So glad for the good care he's receiving and the progress he has made. I am so thankful for today's technologies, too - those tasks still seem to take a long time, but I remind myself they used to take so much more. Congrats on 500 posts! Glad you had some time away with hubby for his birthday.

  4. I back-tracked a little bit to see that Nathan was born at the end of March -- I'm amazed how well he's looking, and your dear daughter, too.

Glad you are taking advantage of all the conveniences we have easily at hand. And congrats on your 500th post! Happy belated birthday to your husband.
