On Friday I spent some time refreshing my bird feeding station. We've has so much wet weather the seed, peanuts etc that were still in the feeders were not fit for consumption.
I took all the feeders in and gave them a good clean and then restocked them. The poor birds must have felt very neglected (although several neighbours have feeders too) and I wondered if they'd return.
I didn't have to wait long.
Yesterday we even had some smaller birds ( a robin and a couple of tits) brave the feeders once the parakeets had moved on.
I'm sure the birds were happy!!
