#JusJoJan - 5/1/20 - Lockdown 3

Well the rumours were right.  We are now in our 3rd national lockdown here in England as of last night.  All non-essential shops are closed, we have all been told to stay at home, work from home unless we can't and all schools have moved to online learning except for vulnerable children and those of key workers.  We can only exercise with our own household or 1:1 with someone outside our household.

These circumstances will be reviewed in February.

Thankfully we can maintain our support bubble with my daughter and her family.  And staying at home is no real hardship.

We will get through this.

Another bonus?  My hair is completely back to its natural colour so no worries about roots  coming through!  Not sure how good the short cut will look after a few more weeks though.  But then who is going to see it?

  1. Wow. So sorry things have gotten so bad there again. I imagine we will be headed the same way once the democrats take over but holding steady right now. Stay safe!! xo

  2. At least I don't need to review my wardrobe! Don't go anywhere , don't see anyone and certainly don't need to dress to impress! I'm back living with my daughter and doing the home schooling. Such is our life these days. I just cope with one day at a time.

  3. Yes, I did hear this.

At least the UK is responding appropriately even if it is a painful response to live through. We in the US are stuck with the leadership of a fool - and we are getting sick at increasing rates. Highest rates in the world I believe. In California they are ready to slip over the line - of trying to determine who gets medical care and who doesn’t. The hospitals are drowning. I live in Maryland and our Governor is excellent so the status of the pandemic in our state has not reach critical levels. BUT ... just like a Facebook quote I saw, you can’t have a corner of a swimming pool where it is OK to pee and expect all the other water to stay clean. What impacts one of us impacts us all.

I love receiving comments and will do my best to acknowledge them, either by replying here or dropping in on your blog.
